Pilates is a form of exercise that concentrates on strengthening the body, through not only activating our big global muscles, but also getting into the stabilising muscles. You can make pilates your own as there are many modifications to an exercise. Ranging from rehab based exercises which enable us to help with injury prevention. Pilates also concentrates on posture, balance, flexibility and being able to have that mind-body connection with yourself. Which helps improve general fitness and overall well being.
